When you make an appointment for a personal or telephone consultation, you will meet with a designer with over 15 years of wedding industry experience, not just a salesperson. You will have the opportunity to see our unique ideas for custom maps, adding menu options to the RSVP cards, including accommodations, gift registry and wedding website information and politely limiting the number of guests. We´ve got the expertise and ideas for communicating all the details related to your wedding.

You get a
FREE one-on-one consultation where we´ll discuss the styles, cardstock options and prices for as many styles as you´d like to consider. We will not seat you at a table, put a huge book of invitations in front of you and walk away. There is no obligation and you´ll receive a copy of the quote via email after your appointment.


Once you have decided to have Invitation Design Studio create your wedding invitation, we will need a 50% deposit to place your order. We can meet with you again to guide you through the wording for your invitation and enclosure cards and have you choose your fonts or email you a list of information and font selections. We´re very flexible and make this easy for you.

Once we have all the details for your invite and enclosure cards, we will typeset everything, convert the documents to pdf files and email them to you for proofing and/or approval. Once we have made any necessary revisions, we will assemble an invitation and drop it in the mail to you. You will have the opportunity to see a finished invitation prior to printing. Included in your sample will be a “Proof Approval Form” requiring your signature before we can start production. Please see our “Fine Print” document for the terms and conditions associated with your order and any potential changes. The production cycle is normally 4 weeks AFTER we receive your deposit. Need them sooner? We can usually accommodate quicker turn-arounds depending our on production schedule for an additional fee.

We will notify you via email when your invitations are done and attach a final invoice showing your balance due. Final payment is due at pick-up.
If we are shipping your invitations, your final payment and plus shipping costs are due prior to us mailing your invitations. If you´d like to talk about your coordination reception pieces when you come to pick up your invitations, let us know ahead of time so we can schedule time to sit and go over your ideas and needs for the reception.

We´d love to work with you and can make this a very easy and satisfying process. We can use snail mail for getting cardstock samples to you and the web, email and telephone for the rest.
